We are looking for an QA Automation & Devops Engineer to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital & Tech Hub in Barcelona.Position Snapshot- Location: Nespresso Hub, Barcelona, Spain- Type of contract: Permament- Type of Work: Hybrid- Work Language: Fluent Business EnglishThe RoleActing as a QA Automation Engineer with a strong DevOps mindset, this role is key to Nespresso’s digital transformation.It drives test automation, CI/CD integration, and observability across squads - designing and implementing scalable quality frameworks that enable fast, reliable, and high-impact software delivery.Reporting to the QA Manager, it empowers product teams to own quality from development to production.In This Role, You Will:- Design and implement scripts and workflows that simplify and accelerate day-to-day operations- Review and validate code, ensuring quality standards are met across the board- Spot and resolve bottlenecks in the software delivery pipeline to boost performance- Align tools and technologies with the team's operational goals and evolving needs- Continuously look for ways to reduce QA timelines, enhance team capabilities, and increase cost-efficiency- Regularly assess and refresh tools to keep pace with industry best practices- Actively engage in Communities of Practice to share knowledge and drive innovation- Perform regular audits to ensure systems and processes remain secure, reliable, and up-to-date- Promote seamless collaboration between QA, development, and operations to minimize handoffs and communication gaps- Support teams by making sure tools and processes are effective, user-friendly, and well-maintained- Keep shared tools and frameworks updated, accessible, and ready to use for all team members at any timeWhat We’re Looking For:- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and DevOps environments- Proven ability to turn business and functional requirements into solid technical specs and QA deliverables- Skilled in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release management tools- Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages across different levels and always comfortable working in English- Experience collaborating in global settings and across remote, multicultural teams- A proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset and a drive to explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies- Detail-oriented when it comes to testing, monitoring, and optimizing, ensuring issues are caught before they reach users- Committed to delivering real value by maintaining high-quality standards and operational excellence- Curious and motivated to stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in QA and DevOpsWe Offer You:We offer more than just a job.
