Overview

DevOps Engineer (mid-level) at Verisk – join an inclusive and international team of around 10 professionals located across Spain, Nepal, and the United States.

You’ll support cloud-based applications, enable development workflows, and maintain robust infrastructure.

This hybrid role is based in Málaga, offering flexibility and a balanced 35-hour workweek.

• Provide operational support for cloud-based applications and development teams.
  
  
• Manage and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  
  
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, and Jenkins.
  
  
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters, specifically EKS.
  
  
• Manage user and system permissions with a focus on security and accessibility.
  
  
• Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  
  
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  
  
• Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

• Approximately 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS, especially EC2, S3, and Lambda.
  
  
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, particularly EKS.
  
  
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Bitbucket, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins.
  
  
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
  
  
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup (2 days/week in Málaga office).
  
  

• Career progression from System Administration roles.
  
  
• Experience working in multicultural and distributed teams.
  
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint planning.
