The Digital Products, Platforms & Services team is part of the Growth, Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function, responsible for designing, developing, and rolling out advanced digital products across brands, regions, and divisions worldwide to accelerate organic growth.

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer for CRM Marketing Automation on Salesforce Marketing Cloud for our CRM Product team.

You will build and extend the core CRM product, delivering a delightful experience for marketing teams.

You will collaborate with your team, including leads, product owners, and scrum members.

This role requires hands-on experience building scalable microservices on Azure Cloud using Java, relational and NoSQL databases, and highly scalable stateless capabilities.

Knowledge of CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and data engineering is a plus.

You will partner closely with the product team to ensure our CRM marketing capabilities meet global brand needs, playing a pivotal role in product engineering and customer experience enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for global multi-brand platforms.
  
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize features.
  
  
• Implement best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
  
  
• Integrate systems with APIs, services, and databases.
  
  
• Optimize code for performance and maintainability.
  
  
• Write automated tests to ensure reliability.
  
  
• Participate in code reviews and stay updated on industry trends.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues.
  
  
• Document work clearly for team use.
  
  

Knowledge / Experience

• Proficiency in Java and backend frameworks.
  
  
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  
  
• Expertise in RESTful API design.
  
  
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  
  
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus.
  
  
• Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred.
