Tenure-track Faculty positions in Computer Science: Operating Systems
IE University´s School of Science and Technology invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Computer Science with a specialization in Operating Systems.
We are seeking a dynamic candidate with expertise in system software development and management of hardware and software resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in processes, threads, memory management, file systems, and Linux/Unix internals, as well as an understanding of emerging trends in real-time systems and system-level security.
A Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Engineering with emphasis on systems/OS, distributed systems, or systems security is preferred.
We value candidates with the capacity to collaborate in applied research projects led by the Impact Xcelerator at IE School of Science and Technology, specifically in areas such as Robotics & AI for real-time systems and OS-level control, and Cybersecurity & Privacy for OS security layers and sandboxing.
The ability to contribute to multidisciplinary research initiatives that apply system-level expertise to real-world challenges will be key to the role's success.
