As we advance our digital and data capabilities, we are looking for a Senior Solution Architect – Business Intelligence to shape the future of analytics and decision support across our global organization.

Your Role

In this role, you will design and deliver scalable, secure, and compliant business intelligence (BI) solutions across a highly regulated, data-rich environment.

Your work will ensure seamless data integration, support advanced analytics, and enable meaningful, actionable insights across research, clinical, and operational functions.

Acting as a key subject matter expert, you will work closely with data engineers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align BI architecture with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities

BI Architecture & Solution Design

Design, implement, and maintain robust end-to-end BI architectures, ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., FDA, EMA, HIPAA).

Optimize system landscapes, integration patterns, and technical frameworks across pharmaceutical research, clinical operations, and business domains.

Select appropriate BI tools, data platforms, and integration technologies to ensure interoperability, usability, and long-term sustainability.

System Integration & Governance

Oversee the lifecycle of large-scale BI solutions, including data platforms for clinical trials, R&D analytics, and operational reporting.

Ensure solutions are compliant with security, privacy, and governance frameworks applicable to the healthcare and life sciences industry.

Establish architecture principles, enforce standards, and support solution governance across projects and domains.

Collaboration & Advisory

Collaborate with IT teams, data scientists, business analysts, and operational users to understand requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

Serve as an internal consultant to project teams and stakeholders on architecture strategy, data platform evolution, and emerging best practices.

Support technology roadmap planning by evaluating new tools, frameworks, and cloud-based solutions.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay up to date on advancements in BI platforms, cloud analytics, and data architecture.

Recommend modern approaches to improve system efficiency, analytical capabilities, and user access to critical insights.

Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our enterprise data architecture and advanced analytics capabilities.

Your Profile

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

8+ years of experience in BI architecture, solution design, or related roles such as Data Engineer, BI Developer, or Enterprise Architect.

Good knowledge of SAP ECC and S / 4 HANA (MM, FI, CO, PP, SD)

Very Good knowledge of Business Intelligence (SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office, BEx Query Designer, SAP Analytics Cloud)

Very Good Knowledge in SAP BI / BW BackEnd technology (SAP BW on HANA, BW / 4, Datasphere)

Very Good Knowledge in SAC Planning and BI Integrated Planning

Deep expertise in leading BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.

Proficiency in enterprise data platforms including Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Redshift, or Google BigQuery.

Strong experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Alteryx.

Broad understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), data integration concepts, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Proven ability to deliver secure, regulatory-compliant solutions within life sciences or other highly regulated industries.

Preferred Attributes

Strong problem-solving capabilities with a structured, pragmatic approach to architecture challenges.

Familiarity with frameworks like ITIL, TOGAF, or TBM is a plus.

Excellent communication skills to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and influence cross-functional decision-making.
