Senior QA Engineer (100% remote) at Tether.io
Overview: We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team.
The position is 100% remote and available to self-driven candidates who can contribute to our vision in the fintech/ blockchain space.
Key Responsibilities - Take ownership of projects & new features, and be responsible for their overall quality.
- Work across teams & with customers to investigate and diagnose issues.
- Create test plans for new products, and maintain and expand plans for existing products.
- Continuously analyze working processes; suggest and implement improvements.
- Document issues in our bug-tracking software, while communicating the issue effectively.
- Work with developers to help them understand, debug, and reproduce issues.
- Help us improve our test automation framework.
- Implement automated tests for new features and help to maintain our test automation suite.
- Assist with manual / regression testing & bug fix verification.
- Monitor information channels to detect and report emergent issues.
- Provide non-functional quality feedback such as performance & UI/UX improvements.
Qualifications - At least 4 years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance field.
- Strong experience using an automated testing framework, such as Cypress or Playwright.
- Strong experience with app and API testing.
- Comfortable working with CLIs and Git.
- Previous experience testing AI technology.
- Knowledge of working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Flexibility and willingness to tackle issues as they arise.
- Self-driven and proactive personality with autonomy to tackle challenges.
- Strong desire to learn and ability to acquire information for complex products.
- Ability to experiment and discover knowledge independently, with willingness to ask questions when needed.
