Front-end: Vue.js with Pinia for state management
Testing: Jest (unit/component) and Playwright (e2e)
Tooling: Currently Babel/Webpack, migrating to Vite (you’ll help drive this modernization)
Back-end: Python services, with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for storage
Infrastructure: AWS EC2 and Lambda functions
What You’ll Do
Collaborate in the discovery, design, and planning of new features
Build and maintain a large-scale web application: debug, test, optimize, and ship code
Work closely with UI/UX, product managers, and QA in a cross-functional agile team
Bring insights into user needs and help evaluate potential solutions during product discovery
Assess tradeoffs between technical approaches and align them with business and product goals
Contribute to front-end architecture decisions and help modernize our tooling
What We’re Looking For
Several years of professional front-end development experience (typically 5+ years), across multiple projects
Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and Node.js (for tooling)
Hands-on experience with Vue.js (or similar UI libraries like React, Angular, or Svelte)
Familiarity with modern web development principles (SOLID, SRP, SOC, DRY)
Comfortable with Git and solid command-line skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality user experiences
Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
Bonus Skills
Experience with large-scale front-end architecture and design patterns
Knowledge of backend frameworks in Python (e.g., FastAPI)
Basic familiarity with PostgreSQL
Exposure to AWS, Docker, or DevOps practices
Interest in AI-driven software development lifecycle improvements
Growth mindset and appetite for continuous learning

Datamaran working policy in Spain
Strong preference: Valencia area, Hybrid working
In the event that a Valencia-located Engineer cannot be found at this time, remote work in Spain is a possibility and applications with a Madrid location may be considered
