Tech Foundations Area Mission : enable product crews to experiment and ship product increments quickly, fostering quality and reliability with security as a non‑negotiable attribute.

Scope

Infrastructure enablement for product crews (hosting improvements, CI/CD, …)

Security and compliance facilitation (authentication, database anonymization, …)

Developer productivity enhancements (local environment setup, monorepo tooling, custom CLI and dashboards, …)

Design and development unification (Design System, …)

Focus for 2025 Grow the team significantly; improve foundation quality across infrastructure, code foundations (backend/frontend/mobile); ambitions around Security stack (authentication) and developer tools & processes.

Process Note Depending on where we think you will have the most impact, you may ultimately join a different part of our engineering organization.

We Are Looking For Platform Engineers With 3+ Years Of Experience

Ready for high‑impact, high‑risk projects involving many engineers.

Design and implement robust infrastructure systems with focus on reliability and observability.

Maintain uptime targets while optimizing infrastructure costs.

Improve incident management processes and lead post‑mortems.

Build and maintain internal tooling (API, web interface, CLI, …) for other engineers.

Mentor other engineers & lead crews.

Contribute to hiring, shaping candidate experience, and technical assessment process.

Ideal fit at Alan

Strong experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.

Experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools.

Comfortable writing code for automation and tooling.

Some experience as Full‑Stack or Backend engineer.

Willing to work in Python/JavaScript.

Understands modern deployment practices and CI/CD.

Able to debug complex system issues.

Self‑starting and entrepreneurial.

Humble and eager to grow.

Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching.

Fluent in English (French not required).

Hiring level: D‑F.
