This team designs and develops Celonis' visual components, enabling users to analyze business processes and identify inefficiencies.

The Role As an Engineering Manager, you’re responsible for delivering robust full stack applications and libraries.

You will be at the frontier of frontend development, pushing the boundaries of product, UX, and engineering to enhance the Process Intelligence Graph with the next generation of process mining.
Users need help categorizing and simplifying their data in order to explore and identify insights to optimize their unique business processes.

The work you will do Assemble, direct, and expand the Process Experiences Horizon frontend team in Madrid, ensuring the successful accomplishment of their defined goals.
Exercise technical acumen and customer behavior insights to navigate feature development, balancing implementation speed, maintainability, scalability, and performance through informed trade-offs.
Collaborate extensively with fellow engineering teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and leadership to guarantee the creation and implementation of influential product functionalities.

These features should deliver significant customer benefits and contribute to the shaping of the broader product roadmap.
Guide and enhance the professional growth of engineers, including those at the Staff level, while simultaneously managing their performance.
Cultivate an engineering culture centered on trust, ownership, and collaboration, both internally and within the broader organization.

Ensure the team's activities and contributions are transparent to leadership and other departments.

You will empower users to deeply analyze and explore their business processes, enabling them to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Craft a superior, intuitive visualization component authoring experience that guides users in answering their most critical process mining questions.
You'll assist users in gaining a profound understanding of their business processes while developing applications within the platform.
Significant exposure to sales and executive leadership awaits.
The qualifications you need Minimum 3 years experience in an Engineering Manager or technical leadership role, guiding both projects and teams.
Advanced technical expertise, equivalent to staff engineer level in software engineering.
Proven experience with technologies such as Angular, Java, Postgres, and microservices architecture.
Excellent English communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams across various functions.
Familiarity with agile methodologies for daily team organization.
Capable of providing leadership and making key decisions to drive strategic direction.
Skilled in resolving technical conflicts and promoting a positive escalation environment.
Willing to actively support the team through hands-on assistance.
