At Oxigent Technologies we are currently looking for a .NET Engineer with WPF or Javascript to join a software engineering team located in Barcelona, collaborating with global teams in Europe, the US, and Japan, and participating in projects such as 3D simulation, drives configuration/programming, and industrial networks software within the industrial automation field.
What will be your main responsibilities?
• Transform requirements into software specifications.
• Translate software specifications into Features and User Stories.
• Design and implement the functionality for the requirements.
• Participate in code/design reviews and continuous improvement.
• Interact with stakeholders to improve the quality of the product.
• Provide influence on schedule, feature, and product designs.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the software.
• Acquire and implement knowledge on new technology relevant for Omron.
• Achieve the best products in the market with passion.
What do you need for this role?
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Software Engineer with exposure to the full product development cycle – from requirements through post-release.
• Knowledge of Microsoft stack, C# and .NET.
WPF experience is a plus.
• Understanding of fundamental design / SOLID principles for building a scalable application.
• Used to apply design patterns and experience in design of desktop applications.
• High attention to code quality and used to conduct code reviews and Unit Tests.
• High level of English (daily use in an international environment).
• The knowledge and/or experience of any of the following would be desirable:
-Industrial Automation Applications: PLC, Sensors, Motion Control, Inverter, Servo, etc.
- Experience in web/mobile development and in cloud-based systems (Azure or AWS).
